What does the online Earth view show?

Earth appears beyond the tiny planet in wouldyou?. Choose “Look at Earth” to move to a viewing spot, or use the virtual telescope to select Earth and zoom toward its satellite imagery. The social space also includes catalog-based stars and neighboring fictional planets.

The Earth surface uses the EOxCloudless 2016 Sentinel-2 composite, with source resolution of approximately 10m. An initial connection failure falls back to NASA/USGS Landsat imagery from 1999 at approximately 31m. This virtual Earth view is historical imagery; it is not live weather, current street imagery, or a building search map. Distances and scales in the surrounding space are arranged for the experience.

For scientific online space exploration, NASA offers the separate Eyes applications. wouldyou? is an independently operated social space, not a NASA mission tracker.
